BIZ Rag Flag 06 Kick-Starts!
It's great to be back again!
The much-anticipated annual Rag Flag tradition kick-start for the freshmen on 5 July yesterday.
Elvis - last year 2005 Rag monument was resurrected. It's nostalgic. It's been BIZ tradition to retain a capstone piece of each float. Kept at one side of the HSSML library open space (traditionally the working ground for the Rag float each year), it is a salute to all the past students who have sweated and toiled hard for the float each year.
Went down to have a sneak look sometime during lunchtime. They were having catered in Chicken Chop rice box (yum-yum). Wanted so badly to take a photograph of them taking their yummy lunch, but it was too late by the time I got to my camera.
Heard that it's Pizza for the Rag Social Nite. Every Wednesday will be Rag Social Nite with different themes until the Rag Day (12 August) itself.
Got to see some preliminary action. The girls were busy cutting away (snip.snip.snip...) Believe me, it's really HARD WORK! Don't ask me what they are doing, it's TRADE SECRET. Shhhh.....
While walking back to the office, caught sight of the overnight sleeping tent at the back of HSS auditorium. Was talking to Kang Wei just now, and realized that he has been spending a few overnight stays at the School, and has just gone home.
Overnight stays to work, catered-in food will be the order of the day until the big day itself...
