Case Competitions
Ok, more serious stuff now. Something more heavy-weight and serious in nature.
Just returned from Cerebrations 2006 organized by the MBAs. Sat through presentations by two groups (caveat: only two groups, not all). While I was sitting there, I couldn't help or resist thinking "how would the BBA students stack up....?" . And the conclusion I draw - firmly believe that the BBA students do not pale in comparison at all.
Alright, perhaps I am biased. Recall the Internal Case Competition organized month ago by a group of BBA students (Aana Lawton, Chong I-T'ing Celeste, Hu Wenzhan, Navin Chandra Nathani, Ng Shi Wei Leonard and Toh Xing Yu), in partnership with Hewitt Associates. The standard of presentations were really high. What was encouraging, was to witness some BBA1 students gamely participated in the case competititon.
1st year BBA students are always intrigued and curious about "what's case competition?"
Perhaps this will help to shed some light http://www.casecompetition.com/?page=2
