SEP totally rocks!

Am not saying this for the sake of doing so (neither is this a publicity stunt) but I bet all of you who have been on SEP or are on SEP will agree with me! Am in Lund University in Sweden and love every minute of it! (except the weather though) it’s supposed to be spring but it is still snowing so… I guess Singaporeans are not suited for the cold! Can’t wait for spring to come! Anyway Sweden is lovely! Apart from the high prices and snow (btw, Lund is much cheaper than Stockholm as it’s not the capital so if you are on a tight budget but want to see Scandinavia, Lund is the place to be! ) , the people here are nice and friendly and we met a lot of fellow NUS people from different faculties so we have our own tiny Singapore nation!
And in Sweden, the land of IKEA, a lot of business cases are about IKEA and IKEA is everywhere so from a business student’s point of view that’s pretty cool! Oh and of course there’s the lovely food that you can eat from other exchange students and H and M! Oh my gosh! Girls who haven’t heard of H and M, hurry up and come on exchange in Europe. H and M has great clothes and much to Don’s disapproval, I’ve spent much of my weekly budget on clothes :P The clothes are not too pricy and really pretty!! And the food! Not only do you find out if your fellow Singaporeans can cook, you also discover your own culinary skills. While on exchange you can also get to eat great food and try all kinds of dishes from all over the world! For instance, Kanelbrod, rice from Iran, French cakes.. need I say more? Bottom line is that it is really fun and you get to travel when you are on SEP! But, of course I miss Singapore like the Bizad canteen’s dumplings, yong tao fu, ‘surprise’ and blueberry juice from the fruit juice stall and definitely hanging out in school with my friends! So, I’ll enjoy every minute I am here and will definitely appreciate Bizad more when I come back!
